The department of mathematics was established in 2007 as a part of the existing Institute of Science and Research (ISR), IPS Academy which was established in the year 1994.Department of Mathematics is engaged in teaching of mathematics to undergraduate and postgraduate classes. The Department has established itself as an excellent centre for teaching of pure mathematics.

The department offers opportunities for the education in Mathematics at graduate and postgraduate level. The department also runs career counselling and carrier guidance courses for the students, which is helpful in their placement and future carrier opportunities. The department has strongly motivated faculty with diverse specialization in Mathematical sciences providing a potential for pursuing research in the mathematics as well as in interdisciplinary areas of science, engineering and technology. The department is committed to trained the students to make them motivated and dedicated mathematician.
